Simon Hodgson is a cocky, arrogant charming, goodlooking, friendly, funny, caring, strong, intelligent guy. Simon was born and raised Nottingham, England with his two sisters and parents, his parents both being in the police force and encouraging him from a young age to also join them when he grew up. As a child Simon was like any other kid his age, enjoying nothing more than playing with his toys, play fighting and exploring. Simon always being brought up to be well mannered, police and respectful of others, which he was, making it easy for him to make friends and be very popular with the ladies. Simon spending the majority of his time apart from when he was working out, often going down the gym or going on long runs, doing all he could to build up his muscles and make himself fitter and stronger. Spending the other half of his time at school or doing revising and homework, always making sure to give his all, wanting to do well and make his parents and himself proud. Knowing that if he got the grades and was strong enough he would be able to fulfil his destiny and his and his parents dream ambition and be able to join the police force. Luckily managing to do just that and soon becoming a junior police officer, soon meeting and being paired up with a guy just like him called Lucas. The two of them working with each other on a regular basis and soon becoming good friends. The two of them quickly becoming good at their job and rapidly moving up the ranks. One day being spotted by MI9, being told by them how impressed they were by them and offering them a job. Simon and Lucas both automatically accepting and soon starting work, quickly settling in and doing all they could to impress, successfully completing every mission they were set. Simon never usually being the type of guy to fall in love, usually just using women for pleasure and having one night stands, however strangely finding himself falling for a woman called Andrea at work, keeping it secret. Often flirting with her and being protective of her. Slowly noticing that his friend was also falling for her and becoming possessive and jealous, competing with his friend to win her heart, it gradually starting to affect their friendship, it getting worse and worse until they were no longer friends, Simon no longer caring for anyone but Andrea and making her his.
However despite how hard he tried Simon found himself losing Andrea to Lucas, feeling jealous and disappointed with himself, knowing that it was he she belonged with not Lucas. Eventually deciding that it was time to move on and get on with his life, continuing to go to work as usual, slowly noticing his friend losing interest, feeling surprised when he quit and slightly missing him. Simon continuing to move up the ranks and become a better spy, feeling impressed with himself and wanting to be the best he could possibly be. Spending his spare time working out, getting drunk and sleeping with women, refusing to let himself fall for anyone after Andrea knowing he would probably end up hurt or losing another friend. Simon gradually getting bored of being in the same old town, knowing it was full of bad memories and that it was time for a change of scenery. Soon packing his bags and going from country to country, working in each one briefly and seeing the sights. Slowly starting the miss his friend more and more, hearing from one of his friends what had happened between he and Andrea and deciding to visit his friend and help him get over her, hoping they could fix things and go back to old times. Finding out he was in Mystic Falls and travelling there. But how will he react when he finds out how much Lucas has changed? Will they be able to become friends again or will their past be too much? Also how will Simon react when he finds out about the supernatural? Will he be able to accept it, settle in and start a fresh or will he leave as quick as he came? We will see.
